The Video Editing has been done – it took a total of 8 – 10 hours and some clever audio editing due to poor film quality audio. The video has been bounced down and is ready to transfer to a DVD.
-Thomas Seddon (Video Editor)
We are proud to announce that the DVD is now finished and is available to any who wish to receive one.
This couldn’t have been possible without the Video Editor.

After our second event, we were able to interview two of the performing musicians, filmed in the Gus Dudgeon studio at the University of South Wales. Each interview consists of a couple of minutes of disusing influences, songwriting, and information about the musicians. -Jack Hunt
Video footage from the events are now ready and on their way to the editing stage to creat a short film promoting the great acts from the gigs and interviews face to face with the song writters.
Rhys, ( film crew)
There has been a slight problem with our event. Due to unforeseen circumstances with regards to sound on our initial date (11th of May) we had to rearrange for a few days later. this took place on the 17th of May. Luckily this time everything went off without a problem. All footage that was desired was taken.

The Video Editing has begun. Starting with finding suitable backing tracks for the film, that will fit well with the theme and content of the video. The content then has to be edited down and processed into folders – making it easier to select which parts of the videos filmed can be used. An overall video layout will be made and then the effects, stabilisation and image correction can be applied – rendering the content in place as we go. Renderisation allows for correct positioning off effects and helps eliminate any computer lag. Titles will be added last to the video and a preview bounce will be made for watching back and ensuring there are no technical errors – once this is done the film can be bounced down at its highest format and if wanted sent over the adobe after effects (From Adobe Premiere) for finalisation and mastering of video content. – Thomas Seddon (Filmer, Video Editor)

We were fixed on the idea of a live musical event taking place in The Zen Bar, ATrium SU. Limited to the weekly availability of the group, we decided on Wednesday 11th May as the date of the event.
The individuals of the group assigned themselves their own roles within the project, including video editing, social media and website, advertisement and posters, etc.
On the same day, we confirmed the date with the SU’s events coordinating staff and booked two live acts that we had previously been in contact with about available dates.
Joshua.
